About Flourbud
In 2020, the bakery began as a New York State Licensed, Cottage Bakery. After a few years of farmers markets & boutique pop-ups, we now have our first storefront in East Moriches! We believe that the farm to table movement doesn't have to just happen in restaurants, but in bakeries too. We use locally sourced produce & goods whenever we can, we make everything from scratch, without chemicals or preservatives. We love refining the classics and balancing flavors beautifully to avoid being sickly sweet. Savory pastries more your jive? We have those too!
Flourbud has since grown from JUST a bakery to a market of sorts where you can get all of your daily provisions. We have a fantastic Sandwich Menu featuring produce from local farms, high quality meats & our sourdough breads. We carry house made dips & spreads, like Caramelized Onion Dip, Whipped Feta Dip & House-made Chili Honey Butter, we have an extensive pantry section and now we serve espresso drinks.
So come by before a gathering with friends, or make us apart of your lunch time ritual, either way we'd love to have you in!

About the owner
Flourbud Bakery was started by Pastry Chef, Cristina Tovar. Like most chefs, Cristina fell in love with the kitchen at a young age. She was always found sitting on the counter, flipping through the pages of many of her dad's cookbooks until finally picking something she wanted to create. After studying abroad in Italy & earning a culinary degree, Cristina worked her way up the ladder in kitchens all over Long Island's East End.
Flourbud Bakery is Cristina's way of taking the skills that she has learned over the years, and love for local Long Island ingredients, and serving them to you.
